CEO

Greg Noonan is an Executive Advisor with more than 40 years of banking and financial services consulting experience, bringing deep expertise in strategy, merger integration and due diligence, financial operations, and conversion balancing. His career spans decades working directly within community and multi-state regional banks across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Tennessee, followed by nearly two decades advising community and regional banks nationwide.

Greg is known for his practical, execution-focused approach to helping institutions translate strategy into measurable results. His specialties include strategy execution, organizational design, process improvement, project management, financial management, systems evaluation, merger evaluation, and merger integration.

As Founder of GNA Advisors, Greg has managed, led or advised on more than 75 acquisitions, including the successful integration of over 45 community banks and non-bank subsidiaries. He has built a reputation as a trusted advisor with positive engagement. Greg leads GNA Advisors with the same distinctive insight bringing together a qualified team of experienced bankers that balance best practices with operational realities.

Amy Pierce

PRESIDENT

Amy Pierce brings more than 30 years of banking experience and a passion for improving the success of financial institutions. Amy’s experience includes roles as Chief Lending Officer and in audit/ risk leadership roles including Managing Director of Risk Services. She gained hands-on M&A experience in leadership roles actively identifying acquisition targets and managing due diligence efforts. 

Prior to merging with GNA Advisors, Amy founded Bank Strategic Solutions, an organization dedicated to providing superior risk assurance and strategic solution services. Amy is experienced in working with Management and Board members to improve efficiencies and develop synergies to increase revenue while addressing company culture, risk, and regulatory compliance. She leads transformation projects including improvement of operational efficiency and acquisition conversions. 

In addition to career accomplishments, Amy serves as advisor for several bank-related fintech solution companies and has volunteered as a mentor for fintech start-up companies.  Certifications include ABA Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERP) and designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM).

Michelle DeGray

Michelle DeGray is a seasoned financial services leader with more than 30 years of senior management and consulting experience. Based in New London, Connecticut, she is known for successfully leading large teams and delivering complex initiatives on time and on target.

Michelle brings deep expertise in core banking, retail and deposit operations, and application software upgrades. Her experience spans mergers, acquisitions, and core system conversions, with a strong understanding of retail and commercial banking and cash management—helping institutions execute change with clarity and confidence.

Britney is a banking industry professional with over 10 years of experience helping financial institutions successfully deliver complex, high-impact initiatives. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Britney partners with organizations to bring structure, transparency, and accountability to large-scale initiatives.

Britney brings deep experience in PMO design and operations, project and program management, technology implementations, merger integration, and executive-level reporting. A PMP-certified leader, she is recognized for building scalable PMO frameworks, leading enterprise system conversions, and driving measurable results during periods of growth and organizational change.

Kristen Becker is a financial services leader with more than 25 years of experience in finance, data, and strategy for financial institutions. Based in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, she brings a strong blend of analytical rigor and operational insight to complex financial and organizational initiatives.

Kristen has held senior leadership roles at a $20 billion institution, including Senior Manager of Finance, Senior Manager of Data Governance and Business Intelligence, and Interim Director of Data Engineering. Her expertise spans planning and forecasting, accounting, reporting systems, data governance, and process improvement, helping organizations strengthen decision-making and financial performance.

Elizabeth Abney is a business and people operations leader with more than 10 years of experience building, training, and managing high-performing teams. Based in Temecula, California, she brings a strong focus on leadership development, operational planning, and customer experience.

Elizabeth has led teams for multi-million-dollar retail organizations, including opening and managing two luxury beauty locations in Southern California. Her expertise includes hiring and onboarding, payroll and scheduling, KPI tracking, and business development. She holds a B.S. in Retail and Consumer Sciences with a minor in Business from the University of Tennessee and is a licensed Realtor in California.
